Hello

when looking at used Lance campers to purchase and the owners cant really tell you the information you are looking for and I had the serial number of the camper that I am interested in, Would Lance camper company be able tell me all the information I wanted about options for that specific camper???

Thanks in advance.

Maybe. It is better than the one on my 2011 1050S that is an 4' x 8' advertisement.

thebigtiny,

Just to echo what others have said, yes, if you call Lance with the serial number, they will be able to print a build sheet for that specific unit. As far as I know, this holds true for many rv and automobile manufacturers.

Good luck. I hope they can provide the information you're looking for.

What you fail to realize is, asking here only adds another layer to the process. You would be saving time and effort by calling Lance directly rather than asking here, then waiting for a reply to come back, THEN calling Lance anyway.

Companies like Lance do not want single points of contact for obvious reasons. I mean, what if that one person goes on vacation, or quits? What if there's a glut of calls that overwhelms that one person? That's why they have a support department. Multiple people can take calls and answer emails. First level takes care of the easy questions, and escalates the harder questions up the chain.

The people that are saying, "Call Lance," *are* answering your question as asked. They are saying, "YES. Lance can help."

Thanks Captain Obvious!!!

Yes you are correct A1surffish kinda fishy..... That's why I have tapered off on making comments or offering my opinion on anything. tired of the drama??? I thought my question was straight forward???

Have a great day

I called them about a front decal for a 1055. They asked for the serial # which I gave. They quoted a price, I paid, they sent, I installed.

Call them. Check their website for the support phone number.

Everytime I have called to get parts or ask questions the serial number always got them to address my TC...so most likely they will have your answers. Just be prepared to wait for a call back...once they get to you it is away we go. Good Luck!

Thank you for the replies.
So MY question as to the camper its self is does it have the cold weather package. The owner told me well of course it does not have the cold weather package it has aluminum siding. If it has aluminum siding it would never hold up in a northern environment.???? I can see I am dealing with a mental giant.

Yes I went to the lance site and downloaded the brochures.
Yes the cold weather option is listed.

My question to this forums was to

A) hopefully someone else has done this meaning providing lance with a serial and finding out everything that they wanted to know.

and

B) Maybe someone might have the contact information already thus saving me the hassle of the run around of trying to find the correct contact person or that one of the forum members could point me in the right direction to find the answers.

I am at work right now so my free time is very limited so I thought some one might be able to just point me to the right place.

thank you for all the positive and helpful replies.

As far as model information-- Google Support/Lance camper and you can download 20 year back model information--which are the original brochures. Very helpful!
I am glad that the other members are almost always willing to help me, because sometimes I just don't know.

I hope anyone feels welcome to ask any question about anything here. Seems the TC Forum works a little different than many of the other forums you might hang out on, DownTheAvenue.

I posted a similar question on Advrider forum, but about Garmin GPS. While it would seem obvious; "Call Garmin and ask them!" Where someone sensed a better answer would be a direct phone # and a person and department to get what I needed. Who wants to go into phone abyss if someone has a better direction or answer.

Never hurts to ask a question. But calling Lance would be a direction I would go too, but I would call a different number and person than their 1-800 #, if I had one ;).
