Drill holes in the siding? OMG, that's like standing at the edge of a tall sheer cliff and getting that terrible feeling in your stomach. Why create a potential opportunity for water intrusion? I'd go with tape and sleep better...

I don't profess to be an expert, but I don't think a couple of 1/4" holes, properly sealed, should be a problem.

Anything big enough for me to see from inside the truck is too big :). I use the small ~2" level indicators and located them on the driver's side corner of my TT (front and side). If you clean the area on the trailer where you're going to place them (alcohol pad) they should stick and never come off.

I use the LevelMate Pro and the Anderson Leveler Chocks and they work great. Do a google search on the LevelMate Pro and check out the videos.
Since I don't have and don't plan to get a data plan, this is not the type of unit I would purchase. I am not saying this is not a good unit to purchase, it just does not fit into my way of doing things.
Thanks for the advice but I must pass on this now.
