Looking for a replacement for my Lance 1121

As some of you may have seen, my 2004 Lance 1121 was totaled by hurricane Michael. We really liked that camper and will miss it.

However, we are looking for something to replace it. We would like something about the same size and weight and reasonably newer. So far, I haven't had much luck.

Any recommendations for a direction to look?

Just looked at the 1181 specs, looks like a possibility. Question for bighatnohorse - can you enter the camper with the slide in? That was one really nice thing about the 1121.

Slide a must. I have been looking at the Lance 1052 and 1131. Anyone familiar with those?

OK Dale. I see you have a superhitch too. Generally campers have gotten heavier per overall length. Are you concerned with your /97? Give us an idea what $$$ value might work. Florida isn't really camper country it seems. On the other hand, a deal might be found because there is also limited interested buyers.

Mike, dry bath a must, as much storage as possible given the confines of a TC, generator built in, ac, heater, fridge, nice kitchen - we currently have a microwave, oven and range. Might could delete the oven. Bed is ok as we now have. The rest I think is pretty much optional. Hope this helps.

It would help a bit to know what features of the 1121 you liked, and what you think you might like or could live without.

For example, do you need the storage, dry bath, counter space. Would you like a bigger bed? What side do you want the slide out on? Some like to sit in the slide and look into the campground (my preference), others like to look out the kitchen window to the campground. Do you want drawers under the seats, or lift up storage? If you put the bathroom forward, you get wrap around windows in the back. Oven or microwave? Generator build in?

Give us some clues what's important.
