There's a WA DOT highway scale just 5 minutes from my house. I had a weight I had taken of my truck some time ago. Then when I got my new EC, I of course weighed again. Came out to 7,250. That's always been a "wow" for me.
Well, I recently re-weighed my truck and TC - empty vs. loaded again. I'm guessing the DOT must have recalibrated the scale, because with no real change in water, batteries, fuel, etc, My TC now weighs 800lbs less, @ 6,400.
Truck and TC together are 14,580.
I guess since they regularly weigh rigs @ 105,000, what's a fudge factor of +/- 800?
