Measuring TC height

I’m trying to figure out how manufacturers determine the height of a TC. I’m building a small house above a big garage/workshop with an attached 16’x40’ RV parking/ shop, but I have limited height for the door. (I didn’t plan on having it for RV parking originally)
I think if I put a TC on a rolling dolly it will fit and then I can keep it inside an insulated building when not using it.
On the manufacturer specs they list a height but is that on the jacks fully retracted or the height of the camper structure only?
For instance, Lance lists they’re larger campers at 9’2” and AF is 8’’7” and 10’ with the A/C.
I have a sloping door header with the low side around 9’6”” depending how close I stay to the peak.

2010 Arctic F0x 811, which is lower overall height than the new rounded profile roof.

On the truck in my signature, it was at 11' 10.5"

I replaced the 13" tall A/C with a low profile version and lost 4" of height.

Northwood emailed me and said the new rounded roof version if 4" taller than my older model.

My NL 9'6" QSE on a 2015 F350 4x4 with stableloads topped at 11'2". For some reason, the RV dealer suggested the total height would only be 10'-ish.

A low profile AC may help.

I have RV garage with 10' tall door and my basement camper will not fit even on 4" casters. Not even close.
Taking AC off will lower it drastically.

Most hard wall TC's with a basement under the wheel wells are 9.5' from floor to AC with the largest models closer 10' tall. You will need to find a lower profile model without basement or a popup if you want to put it inside that 9.5' opening.

Drop the camper on even ground to the lowest possible level,
Add dimensions "B & C", Subtract dimension "A" then add dimension "D".

This will be the MINIMUM clear height of your door opening.

All I did was put my camper at the height it would sit and took my 6-foot level across the top of the AC which was the highest point. Hold it level and measure to the ground.
