I had an Ipod adapter short that caused my truck's gauge cluster go dead and PCM go in to limp home mode...figured out why.....the PCM is connected to the radio for vehicle speed to work the speed compensating volume control.

I take my towing mirrors off every winter and put on my small ones because I can t fit in my garage with my towing mirrors.

That placement doesn't seem very intelligent. So if your mirror gets damaged in a parking lot or wherever, your truck may stop working? I don't know what they were thinking, out of all the places they could put it, they decided the mirror was best?
Well, it is a Dodge.
