We need an rv tech to troubleshoot a hot water heater. Does anyone know of someone they can recommend or who we should avoid?
When we switch the electric on the red light comes and stays on. We have run a good amount of water through the hot water faucets in both the bath and kitchen. All the spitting, ect. Is long gone and water flows well. Husband has checked the bypass and outside and says both are OK.
We don't know what else to do and need the heater working ASAP.
Thank you very much.

Thank you for your replies. I have checked the rv service review site, very helpful. Thank you.
We have two different switches for the hot water heater. One is electric (on the left). And another for the gas (on the right). The red light is in the middle. We were told that to use the electric (our preference), to turn the switch to on and that if the red light illuminates the heater is not lighting and we were to turn it back off, wait 5 minutes and try again. It would sometimes take an extra try but has always worked in the past. Have we been misled?
We are new at this so I always worry if we are getting the right instructions.

What kind of water heater? All I am familiar with have the electric switch right on the heater with no indication. The red light is on the gas switch and is illuminated to show the switch is on but the burner didn't or hasn't lit.
