Modifying the plumbing.

I have a 75 Terry TT.

Right now, the drains drain to the holding tank and then out. I am not using the holding tank now. I do not want to use it ever.

I plan to remove the bathroom fixtures. I want to run the kitchen sink into the ground.

So, to do this: Can I just cut the pipe going to the tank and direct it into the ground? The other drains have vents. Can I just cap the pipes at the roof, or must I remove it and repair the roof?

The trailer will not be moved anywhere anytime soon and there is no issue with grey water going directly to the ground.

I will have the pipe from the trailer easily separated from the ground. I will also have what is in the ground completely removable.

With tounge in cheek, this sounds like "amputating a foot because you have a hang nail" :):):)

I cant see how.

I have no use for the tub while camping. I do not need the shower. I do not use the toilet or the holding tank. The little sink in the bathroom is also useless.

It's a campground that will let you dump your grey water on the ground?
Wow....
Anyway, if they let you, I would tend to agree with leave the vents and gut what you don't want.....

What do I do about those pesky little vents for the vent pipes? Leaving them as is will mean that the mosquitoes will visit me. I could throw some screening up.

Just cap them. you can get Plugs/caps at any plumbing supply house or Lowes, etc, and they are as cheap or cheaper than screening

Just cap it. No need to mess around with repairing your roof...
Final notice from MasterCard. Good! I'm sick of hearing from them.

X1, gray water dumped on the ground under the trailer will end up stinking and creating bad orders inside your trailer! If you are determined to dump gray water under the trailer, then strongly suggest you drain into a pipe i.e. PVC which dumps at least 20' away from the trailer, like a leach line in effect.

I was planning on digging down a good 2 -3 feet and have a holey pipe that the sink drains into.

There are outhouses?
Where is this trailer located? Campground? Private property?

25 km off the highway down a bush road It is a campground with very few rules.

I cannot just dump black water, but grey water is fine.

It sounds like a hunting camp to me. If it's draining to the ground I don't see where the vents, if left alone, would matter. If rain gets in them, so what. There is nothing like a holding tank to fill up. I say just run the drain pipe well away from the trailer so it doesn't pool up and keep the ground soggy. If that's a concern, install a French drain.

So no bathroom facilities......ie: bathroom sink, shower or toilet :H

Might want to explain in more detail what it is you are trying to achieve.
Cause it sounds like so far just a kitchen sink dumping on ground and no other facilities.

That is exactly what I want. I do not want or need a bathroom. On my trailer, it takes up a good chunk of space, and the trailer has no bedroom. I have to pull out the couch to sleep. I figure if I turn the bathroom into a bedroom, I will sleep better. As for a bathroom, I am right next to the outhouses.

So, once I am set up, the kitchen sink is the only drain to deal with, and I want to just put it to the ground.

then gut away......do what you want IF legal
Is it time for your medication or mine?
