new bath fan Hengs

I have just finished installing a new Hengs conversion kit in the bathroom. I purchased the unit from"CW" and wasn't told about the one with the variable switch.
Actually they wanted to sell me the 400.buck fantastic one.
I figured for 80 bucks, it tn only clears the air in the loo.

Now I am looking for the variable switch. CW doesn't carry it, Hengs won't sell it to me and refers me to suppliers that want to sell me a whole new unit!
Oh, rants over now, longer than I thought. Any way this fan is great. Just saying.

See my post about the PWM, it can be done for less than ten bucks. Think eBay.

Yes.

I found out that the lid handle may need to be adjusted inside the new version.

if you are going to get it, make sure you get the vortex I I, it will have the good switch.
Cheers Chuck

The difference in price is not worth the increased functionality IMO as I only intend to use it to clear moisture from the area.

I agree. I've been looking for a cheaper place but haven't found one. So for now it's full speed or no speed!

Hey, thanks, Mike, I have looked everywhere I guess except that
place.

Kind regards, and a safe week end!

There should be two wires coming off the fan unit. One goes to switch in the fan one goes to the fan motor.
You would need to connect the positive from wall switch or power source to the wire from the fan and connect the other to ground. This can be done either with wire nuts or a crimp connector.

got that part, now which switch?
Thanks
