Hot is
-when campground dumpster gets packed with cardboard from new AC units.
-when after finding a bench under good shade, you still get your behind burned.
I am in Phoenix now, but my Las Vegas house shows about the same.
Today is cold - temperatures drop to 104F

The "right coast" (north corolina) has been mid to upper 80's in day and 78-80 at night for last week. We're heading 60 miles up the coast tomorrow for another week.

Just heading home now from the coast. 60's during the day and 50's at night. Sounds cold to some, but the sun shining allowed us to putt around in an open air dune buggy for five days.

We ran the fireplace at night after coming inside from using our patio heater outside. Camping is not really what I would call this.

It might make it to 80 tomorrow. Other than that mid 70s for the next week. I'm not sure how we'll survive the heat.

It is. I grew up in cold climate, but over the years was moving to warmer and warmer weather.
Surprised myself that I can actually work in 110F as long as it is in the shade. Doing slow work I don't sweat, but when I have to do something more physically demanding, few minutes and run inside to cool down.
Lime Margarita is the best
