Well yesterday I got my Hybrid Travel Trailer by Coleman. My uncle sold it to me for $1.00 (its a family thing) and its about 22 ft from end to end and its a 2010. Have a bit of cleaning up to do since he had a dog in there, but thats ok. Now I can move (after clean it up some) all my stuff from my other trailer out of the house back in to its new home. Bummer is my first trip might not be till Memorial Day weekend. So after almost 10 years as a TT owner I have changed to the HTT and hope to have others go camping with us in the future. By the way the tired are 1 year old and yes the AC works fine and some does the rest so far.
I'm with Tlauden, couldn't ya jew him down a little bit??? congrats, and happy camping. We love our htt, and I'm sure you will get enjoyment out of yours.
congrats. We are on our second hybrid and love that "camping" feeling. We've taken some lengthy trips (6 weeks or so) and lots of nearby weekends. Recently we set up our hybrid completely while the guy in the next site was setting up his TV dish (10 minutes or so) Have used it in wind, rain, cold, even a light snow. Only leak was when the ac gasket decided to give out.
We always loved sleeping in a tent but didn't have many conveniences. We upgraded to a popup for a few years, but still, there was something missing.......a bathroom. Then came an Hybrid, which had everything a popup had and everything a travel trailer had. We were sold. We are now on our second one and still love everything it has to offer.
We love ours. It has an open, airy feeling and sleeping under canvas allows us to hear night creatures, such as owls. We feel more like we're outdoors, which is a good thing, since we primarily camp in state parks.
Congratulations! I hope you enjoy it. While care and maintenance is roughly the same as any other travel trailer, using a hybrid is a different experience than a hard sided trailer. They aren't for everyone.
We are starting our 3rd season with our second hybrid trailer. We had our previous hybrid for 10 years.
