Looks like the "best" value in new campers right now is in the above unit. Do any of you have a newer one that you can tell me about. They all look good at the dealers, but I'm interested in how they hold up over time. Seems like the older units don't, but if the company's ownership has changed, things might have improved.
Thanks.

Hey maximus! I have come to the same conclusion, based on the fact that most brands use the same appliances and the fact that Forest River now owns Palomino. I too owned an earlier model and had no real problems with it. I am in the market and need an east-west bed arrangement since I have a regular cab/long bed pickup. Palomino seems to be about the only one interested in that market. Specifically looking at a 6601. If others have anything good or bad to say about this model, I would appreciate hearing about it.

How do you define best value? Lowest price? I've found the lowest price is rarely ever the best value.
I had an older Palomino. I wasn't impressed. I wouldn't buy another one. I hope they have greatly improved since then but I don't know.
