I made a gate leg table for our camper. Actually this is a second table. I posted pictures of the first HERE
And while it worked out very well, it was a little big and heavy. I made it from shop scraps, mostly flake board, so it was too heavy to easily move around.
The new one is much better.
The table top is hollow. It has internal ribs with top/bottom "skins" of 1/4" plywood. The new table is much lighter but the hollow top is very strong and warp resistant. It measures 8" x 25" and makes a perfect side table.
With one leaf open it measures 23" x 25" and makes a nice desk.
With both leaves open it measures 38" x 25" large enough to comfortably seat two for dinner.
