Opinion between 2 trailers

I am deciding between a Lance 2285 and a Bullet Premier 22RB. The layout differences are a factor for me but the real question is the quality of the 2 manufactures . The Lance crowd talks very negatively of the customer service but the trailers seem to be good. The Keystone Premier crowd seems to be happy overall with quality and customer service. I am leaning toward Premier but open to suggestions or opinions.

Thank you

Do you think the way Lance manufactures the walls and ceilings as a laminated unit, is better than conventional stud / rafter framing that Premier uses?

I went to the Lance website and took a look at their Travel Trailer floorplans. They only make 8 different trailers - and in their Truck Campers they make 12 different campers, that's it (plus 2 different Toy Haulers)

I guess they found something to do and they're doing it right (on a small, intimate scale)

I've never been in Bullet Premier but Lance is what I'm seriously looking at. I love my Arctic Fox but again, it's just too heavy and I want to eventually downscale this truck. For Lance to be able to build in California means that they're a pretty "green" company and they say on their website that they are using some great materials, etc. Go to YouTube and lookup Lance Factory Tour and there are a couple of videos on their construction methods.

When I was shopping, my top two choices for new were Lance and the Premier.

What I liked about the Premier was the taller ceiling and the flush slide.

What I liked about the Lance was the better insulation, the standard Fantastic Fan, and the skylight in the middle of the living area. If the Lance had a flush slide, it would have probably pushed us into choosing that (if we didn't find our pre-owned trailer when we did).

no wrap around nose on lance. that eliminated it for me. on the other hand proximity to the factory is important.

When you are camping and trying to make the layout work for you it won't matter about the quality of the construction. I think layout, layout, layout is the camping equivalent of the home owners; location, location, location.

Thx. This not an issue for me but the Lance cost more money. Maybe because built in California possibly . The Premier is a better looking trailer in my opinion. Sounds like either way I go would be a good trailer .

Go to the Lance web site and watch their production video. Then see what you can find on the Keystone. The only videos I found for Keystone were on youtube, then judge which looks to be the better built camper.

JMO but I'd go Lance for two reasons. 1st is the greater holding tank capacities. 2nd is the use of Azdel. No chance of delam. Another would be the torsion suspension on the Lance would technically give a smoother tow. Lance is made in CA, which could be helpful if you need factory assistance. After that I don't see a lot of difference. Lance does use a better cabinet assembly process, which could be an asset in the long term.
I don't like the tv placement in the Lance, although you get a sofa in the Lance. I know from personal experience that the booth seating in the Lance was pretty comfortable. I would sit in the booth in the Bullitt for 30 mins and see where you end up. Sometimes you end up on the plywood seat support. Lance seems to have firmer cushions. I've never found a booth seat that would be comfortable long enough to watch a movie or game. However in the Bullitt you could just lay on the bed. Tough call. But for me the Lance has a few more construction qualities that make it better.

I have a Bullet Premier 32' and love it. We had a couple of issues at first but I must say that Keystone stood behind it and fixed everything to our standard.

Overall, from what I have read here, the Lance seems to have better build quality.

Customer service depends heavily on how good the dealer is.
