We're considering moving from popup to Hybrid with 2017 Taco (V6 double cab with tow pkg-including coolers) as tow vehicle. Glad to hear it should handle a hybrid well. Still a bit concerned of the wind drag against the front of the trailer with no truck cap on the bed. Has that been a problem for you? Do you notice it? Thanks in advance for your input.

As just mentioned, I would not be worried towing whether you have nothing, a toner cover or bed cap. For me I do have a toner cover for my tacoma, sometimes storage is tight on camping trips but we get by.

No problems towing my 20' hybrid. Towing 10 yrs with my Tacoma, this coming summer planning another 2 week towing trip to Canada! :C

Congratulations nice looking rig. It may just be the angle of the picture but it looks like the trailer is hitched a little high in the front. If it is you might want to go back trough your setup for a trouble free tow.

it's kinda been proven many times, that a bed cap will do virtually nothing to improve towing or fuel mileage.

I miss my Tacoma's. Except for the days when I haul heavy. Then I love the Cummins. Nice trailer. I looked at the launch models before I bought my bullet.
