The folks in the Folding Trailer forum have started a fun topic, so I thought perhaps we could do the same. I'll start.

I've only had this one since November, but somehow a picture just doesn't do it justice sitting in Camp Driveway.
These were taken at Indian Hed CG near Bloomsburg, PA which has potential but is a bit dumpy. As you can see our neighbors were quite close, but turned out to be real nice and quite for the most part.
Going to Gettysburg this weekend and may replace these with better ones.

I'll also get them posted elsewhere ๐Ÿ˜‰

The thumbnails work, but are a bit difficult to view. You might try posting larger shots by clicking the webshots' link "link to it" which is found to the right of the photo you are viewing in webshots. Once you're there, you have the choices 100, 200...600. I use 600 and like the results. Nice looking trailer btw!

It's funny that you mention tinting. I have been wanting to tint my windows for over a year now. Is there anyone out there that has tinted them? Are there any downsides? I never thought about mounting from the inside but I will tell you that if you put them on the outside, you will notice an immediate difference! I was in Laughlin, NV 105 degrees and the air ran all day. It was a cool as a cucumber ๐Ÿ™‚

I purchased the solar blankets at Bass Pro Shops for $8.00 each. It takes 2 to cover the front bunk (queen) and 1 for each of the back and side bunk. I purchase clips to hold them on from checker auto $.50 each. Whether it is Zion, Sedona, Laughlin, Death Valley or CA I always use them. You don't have to wake up at the crack of dawn because the sun is blazing through - it keeps the tent dark and cool. In the winter it keeps the heat in. Heated mattress covers become a must have in the winter. Dom

I have been working on a way to put a cover on the inside to block the light and in the mountains when its cold, keep the heat in. I am doing it more to keep it darker. I am trying to get a little creative so when I finish I will post some pics and let you know the outcome.

Have you tried to tint your windows? I have been thinking of doing that.

This weekend, we went to Cochiti Lake. It is a small man made lake on the Rio Grande River, maintained by Corps of Engineers. We had a nice little site, but no view of the lake. It was our first back-in site. Only took two tries to park it. Power box was too far to reach with 30-amp cord so we had to break out the heavy duty extension cord and run on 20-amp. Too far to water connection too but we survived on fresh water tank. First trip to common dump station. A very good trip, after a rocky start when hooking up and broke my electric jack.

Cochiti Lake Site 27 is ours for the weekend.

Down to the lake from near site 33.
