At home I'm showering with the bathroom door open listening for doors opening, well pump kick on, cabinets open, or if the fridge opens.

No you can't watch them 100% of the time but would you consider this option?

The things that come to those that wait will be the junky stuff left by those that got there 1st.

The only thing I don't like about the 23j is the range right next to the couch. Any of those designers have a toddler or two?

good point, the first Palomino 238 hybrids had the same layout. but customer complaints/comments got them to switch places with the stove/oven and the sink.
the only solution is to put up a splatter guard, between the stove and the sofa.

Center blast or ducted? My preference is center blast. Center leaks, center troubleshooting, and easier access to the seal. I plan for the worst and expect it!

Graphics can be very tricky to lay out properly. Good move having someone in the know apply them. At our Bodyshop I have done a few, but the big ones I call out the old specialist. He makes it look so easy and they are just perfect.

If you're not familiar in applying graphics, make sure to visit a sign shop that specialize in vehicle graphics or wraps. They will give you tricks on how to proceed.......cause once it's applied, it hard to remove.

Like you I like simple graphics and I'm happy our Palomino S-238 came that way. The one thing I will have someone do in spring is paintbrush the spare tire cover. I will have him or her paint 2 palominos like the one that came with the HTT brochure.

Oh yea, wouldn't try this myself. I have a guy here that does great work, just need some ideas. I only have 8 wks to think about it....

I would love to see some photos of custom graphics. I'm hoping to do a factory delete on my ordered Jayco X23J, and then do something "different but simple".

i do love the 23J, great floorplan. still can't believe Jayco is still using "blast-from-the-center" a/c. wonder why they still haven't gone to ducted a/c.
also, they should look at switching the sink and oven locations.
the Palomino 238(similar floorplan)had the oven, initially in the same location but later switched it.

but the kitchen counterspace is great and so is the u-dinette and its location. great hybrid.

According to the salesman I worked with at the Jayco dealership, they can be had with ducted A/C. Too bad he never followed up with me, and told me that before I went with the Roo. Then again, he could have been telling me that just to get my goat after I told him that was the reason I didn't buy his.

neither Jayco's or RVDirect's websites show any option for ducted a/c.
and SeeingStar's pics show the "Blast-from-the-Center" a/c.
so, i doubt the salesman knew that it's not an option for Jayco's hybrids.

Awesome looking camper! We looked at that similar floorplan, but decided we needed more floor space when we purchased our new Roo 233S. We were also planning on heading out for our first desert trip next weekend, but the coming Holiday has us needing to prepare for family that is coming to town.

Have a great inaugural trip, and maybe we'll run into you camping some weekend!
