Seriously, you literally quoted that link several posts back.

Worlds best selling pickup 2018

Top 10 best selling pickup models globally in 2018
1. Ford F-series (NA truck)- 1,081,245
2. Chevrolet Silverado (NA truck)-651,131
3. Ram pick-up (NA truck)- 623,444
4. Toyota Hilux (global truck)-548,313
5. Isuzu D-Max (global truck)- 301,629
6. GMC Sierra (NA truck)- 274,198
7. Toyota Tacoma (NA truck)- 270,276
8. Ford Ranger (global truck)- 267,153
9. Chevrolet Colorado (mixed)- 169,220 (134,842 of those sold in US)
10. Toyota Tundra (NA truck)- 131,760

So to say that North American truck sales are insignificant in overall global truck sales is just plain false. We call them trucks regardless of what everyone else calls them. After all, you call them utes when the rest of the world doesn't, but you don't see me chastising you for calling them that.

You still do not get it that is what I was referring too. If you think it is wonderful, then I cannot do anything about that

I know what you were referring to. You stated that the Isuzu goes 220k miles before a rebuild and I stated that the Cummins has a B50 life of 350k meaning that 50% of the engines will need major repairs at 350k. Since the 6.7L goes into many applications from medium duty trucks, farm tractors, buses, generators, boats, and pick-up trucks, the 50% of the engines requiring major repair is statistically more of the severe - medium duty applications and not the pick-up trucks which means they will likely go a lot longer before needing any major repairs. In fact, there are already plenty of 6.7L's in the Cummins high mileage club that have gone well over 500k miles without an overhaul.

Wrong again, and obviously false, they are not Trucks:R Outide NA they would be cars or Utes, or more correctly Pickups As far as the Cummins goes my comment has not changed if you think that is good then that is your opinion

Yeah, I am not sure what those pictures have anything to do with a Cummins powered pickup truck in Africa.

Nope, not guessing. The numbers are on that website link. The US sells significantly more trucks than any other market and that is a fact. You may want to say it is minor because you hate the US, but facts are facts. North America sells more trucks than the rest of the world combined.

yes Robert, we all know how much you hate anything American and you love to tell everyone how much it sucks. So does that mean all those other ordinary 7 liter engines that you claim have the same 350k mile overhaul requirement suck as well? Also, I said B50 rating at 350k. I never said all Cummins 6.7L required an overhaul at 350k like you stated the other do. Look up what a B50 rating is.

Well in this case it sure sucks with figures like that., they are ordinary for a 7 litre diesel Remember they are your figures. Cummins had to drop that 5litre V8 because of poor performance. As well they are collaborating with Isuzu and Scania to improve their heavy truck diesels

They stated that the current vehicles sold is 73 million and they expect to be around 88 million by years end so 80 is a lot closer than the 100 million you stated. Again, I said OVER(as in ABOVE) 5 million because the last time I looked at the figures for last year it was at 4 million so I was not incorrect with saying it was OVER 5 million. So in 2018, 6,356,870 trucks were sold globally and of those, 3,198,760 was from the NA. So yes, NA sales more trucks than the rest of the world combined.

No you are guessing, more making it up., where are the figures? website? Pickups are not Trucks . US is a minor player in actual Truck sales Globally.

Yes, emission system does have an effect on a vehicles reliability. So your saying that 350k is ordinary for most 7 liter engines, but only the Cummins is poor? What? That does not make sense aside from the fact that you just want to say something from America sucks again.

The only vehicles they do that with are their long term trucks that they own. Most(if not all) review sites do their reviews on new vehicles that the manufacturers give them to review. Who would be giving these reviewers 5 to 10 year old trucks?

Now that you mention that a viewer brought them his Toyota Tacoma with 700,000 miles that has a supercharged engine that was offered as a dealer installed option. Andre did a good interview.

Just saw the video. Pretty sweet little ride. Truck looks really clean for almost 700k. Nice to see the motor last for 400k although I wonder what rebuilding the SC every 150k cost. Probably not a lot.
