Not sure how much some little pieces of friction material rubbing on painted metal actually do. But my towing experience has been nothing but a pleasure.

I know it has been recommended many times over the years to get the Equilizer but this Reese is the newer version it is seems to be the same technology as the Equilizer except the bars are tapered there they use Brake Pads to dampen the metal on metal rubbing. Any thoughts on this choice?
