Repair dent/hole in interior of Norcold fridge

Not sure how it happened, but I opened the door to our fridge and it looks like maybe something was dropped causing a dent/puncture in the bottom of the interior. I'd like to repair it but not sure what would be the best way or where to start. Unfortunately it doesn't look like interiors are replaceable parts, LOL. Thank you!

Silicone has it's place but for immersion, etc, there are much better products. Silicone in the fridge isn't good, doesn't harden and remain sort of sticky. When you go to wipe out or clean the fridge, crumbs and opther stuff clings to it. A good epoxy will remain stiff but a little flexible to accomodate weight.

Thanks everyone, sounds like epoxy is the leader here but one question.....why the resistance to silicone? It's not my first choice because it remains soft but that was the first thing my husband suggested as well.

I wish everyone would put the silicone tubes in the garbage. You can get light coloured 2 part epoxy, no stink or stickyness afterwards.

Read the labels first. I was originally thinking silicone, but don't think it ever hardens. A 2-part epoxy will harden and then you can give it a light sanding IF it's compatible with the plastic. DH uses 2-part epoxy for everything with his RC airplanes. They make one that hardens in 2 minutes or less and another more like 5 minutes. Good luck, that is a bummer.

Marine Tex is a good all-round repair material.

that would work, but caution is needed the epoxy might eat the plastic, might just put some silicone in the hole.read the caution label on the epoxy.

I would try a two-part epoxy repair putty. Ask at a good hardware store.
Merely rough up the repair site, mix equal parts of the putty and apply. May be smoothed before hardening and sanded afterwards.
