Replacing our stolen TT - Model Options

Hi, we are trying to replace our stolen 24 foot bunk house. After looking at all dealers within an hour drive, we have found two models that we really like, and another that we like but may be too large / too pricey.

1. 2019 KEYSTONE BULLET ULTRA LITE 243BHS. This one is closest too our as far as size and features. I think this is what the insurance will try to get us as a replacement.

2. 2019 KZ connect C241BHK. Very similar to #1, is slightly larger -- has some features we really like. It has a longer queen bed (Better for me), Factory installed Bike/Cargo rack, Large cargo doors, larger fridge, and slightly larger dinette. It is a little longer than the keystone, and $1000 more which would likely need to come from our pocket.

3. 2018 Keystone - Bullet 287QBS
This one is larger and different. We will need to shell out an extra $2000 on this, but its definitely an upgrade. The kids really like the bunk room to have friends come along. We like the huge slide out with the sofa and large bathroom with shower doors. Lots of room and privacy.

The only concern about #3 is the weight. My truck is rated to tow 10,000 lbs, but 1570 lbs of payload. Loaded up, we'll be around 850-900 lbs of tongue weight. With Passengers and some gear we will be close to the payload. I'm used to towing a 24 foot, will it be a big difference towing the extra 3 - 4 feet?

I have no experience with keystone, hoping to get some input on the manufacturer and particular models.

In a similar position regarding payload. I haven’t found much bigger than the 2400BH floor plan that I felt we could stay below our Tahoe payload on (1588 CC). The biggest we have found is the Dutchmen Kodiak 255BHSL. We really like the idea of having a couch but this is the only one that I have found with a UVW under 5200 lbs and a slide.

It's also a year old trailer even though it's never left the dealer's lot 😞 ... chances are good it was manufactured 2 yrs ago in 2017. You may not care now but you might when you later decide to sell. 😉

Our policy indicates we get a brand new trailer of "like" kind with "like" features. The closest one we found is the Keystone Bullet. Considering other manufacturers too.
