Hi,
I wonder what they cost?
Hey Don.
Between 30 and 45 K depending how you outfit them.
But no permitting or construction or infrastructure. Install time of 10 minutes.
Kinda cool.
Guessing he meant the truck not the charging station.
Trucks are $70k +
Reisender, any idea when rivian is going public?

The Rivian is a very interesting truck. I really enjoyed watching them on the Apple TV series, A Long Way Up, through South America. I would definitely look to them if I were to purchase a electric truck.
Great show. I would consider this truck too but would never give up my diesel for towing

It certainly is a well thought out device. How many watt-hours can it harvest in a day?
I look forward to purchasing an EV some day and am not an EV hater. But I'm a realist, and I get annoyed at the worthless figures published by EV companies in regards to range and charging. Saying that a charging station provides up to 'X' range is of little value when there are myriad factors that determine that. (the individual car for one)
So, the internet tells me a ballpark output for a solar panel is 20W per square foot in optimum conditions. The panel appears to be slightly wider than a normal parking spot, so call it 12 feet wide and 20 feet long. 240 square feet gives you 4800 watts output maximum. Not quite true level 2 capability but not too shabby if you're only trying to charge 1 car. Showing several cars connected at once is pretty silly, it's like trying to fill a car's gas tank with a turkey baster.
