Has anyone used Simple Green cleaner for the rubber roof. The tree sap and road dust has my roof looking terrible.

Hmmm.... Simple Green has citric acid

Use of products containing citrus may ruin roof and void warranty.

Think I'll pass

I stand corrected. Maybe its not the best product to use on a rubber roof.
Dicor Rubber Roof Care
CAUTION: DO NOT use cleaners or conditioners containing petroleum solvents, harsh abrasives, or citric-based cleaners. You may cause irreparable damage to your roof and/or may void your warranty.

You can lead a horse to water.
You cannot make it drink.

Simple green up there can get slippery so be careful.

As the liquid is washed off the roof it can take the wax off the sides off the trailer which I usually wet down first.
After every thing is dry I wax the trailers sides.
My trailer is 20 years old and still looks like new however I don't wash the roof but maybe every 6-7 years.

We used to use it on our whitewater raft for taking off the black marks that the aluminum frame left on the rubber. It worked great for that. We used it full strength and scrubbed the raft with a scrub brush. We did that for many years with no ill effects. I would have to imagine that a diluted form would work well on the rubber roof.

I've used it over 10 years on two campers. Works well no roof issues.

Twice a year. I dilute it about 10/1 with water, scrub and rinse. Great results.

According to Simple Green, it is the best thing ever to use on your rubber roof. It is not citrus based as some folks think.
