Standing showers in bunkhouse models.

Why do most bunkhouse models have standing showers? we are looking for a bunkhouse TT bc we have a small child (just turned 1) and talking about having a second, and the advantage to a bunkhouse is obvious gives us room for a pack n play or even a crib. Anyway back on topic a standing shower with small children who still takes baths isn't very useful, and it seems like most bunkhouse models have standing showers so it only leaves us a few to really choose from, that have bathtubs. I'm not really asking, I guess more of a small complaint or just an observation.

We are looking at a Salem/wildwood (same thing) 31KQBTS or 31QBTS any input on these would also be great. Thanks

That's basically the floor plan we have picked, only difference is the bunk room has 2 slides.

Mine has a tub, but the newer model has a shower. Even with little kids I don't mess with the bath tub often. I would make a list of features you think are important rank them and figure out where having a tub fits into that. If its important keep looking or find a used one like mine that has one. Remember to take your entire family into the trailer and try to imagine life in the trailer. Is it comfortable for watching a movie on a rainy day?

We have a 4 year old and 1 on the way. We have the standing shower and prefer it over the tub\shower combo. Yes it's easier for the few times you give the kid a bath, but the small size doesn't fit most people. We have a small bath tub and the flexible shower head for baby baths in the shower. Plus we have a larger bucket and an outside shower if it's nice and we want to give them a bath outside.

I doubt there is much demand for a toddler size tub and only big RVs have room for an adult size tub.

Use the sink or find a plastic tub that fits the shower stall.

Your child is going to spend a lot more time as a larger person than as a small one. Buy the RV that fits your family when larger.
