my husband and I will start traveling full time, in a 17 foot t@b ttravel trailer. I enjoy my high heel shoes purses accessories etc, I am wondering how I'm supposed to stay attractive when I will be in the forest, riding a bike, hiking, in tennis shoes and shorts most of the time. I have been camping many many times and most of the time I had dirty feet messed up hair dirty fingernails, less attractive quite often. I am concerned my husband wont find me attractive when all he he everyday is the shorts t-shirt bandana and tennis shoes. Advise ladies or gents? Thanks

I think women dress for women. We just laugh at women we see " dressed up " camping. My DH hates make up, and has always encouraged me to NOT wear it. I think most men find natural and conservative super sexy. What could be hotter than jeans and boots with a cute little shirt, and a great smile?! Hubby thinks my hottest outfit is one of his old dress shirts. 🙂
Try it, you might actually feel better without all the cake face.
Oh, and you might want to reconsider Full Timing in a 17 foot trailer. That could be a huge mistake!

If a girl in the forest wearing high heels falls and there is no one there to hear her, does she still make a sound?

My wife looks hotter in shorts and a t-shirt than a dress and heels, At least she does to me! Maybe that's the look your hubby is going for.

Going along with the screen name thing, I find it really funny that possibly the most sensible helpful advice in this thread comes from somebody that calls herself Spleenstomper:). Back to the subject now. For years at our favorite campground there was a 30ish blonde who always looked stunning. Her companion was this really big in the middle balding man, go figure. Any time she was out of that camper, she was looking good. Dresses, jewelry, hair done nicely. Classy can be done without any uppity in it, so I say go for it if it makes you happy. We don't see them anymore, darn it.

The dresses, shoes, makeup, hair style etc are for impressing othet women. To men you should be attractive in shorts, t-shirt, tennies and snudged face and dirty nails. He is probably trying to get you camping to find out what you really look like.

I agree hairstyles play vital role in the look and appearance..What style you pick for your hairs whether it is long braid hair or pony tails...

I don't want to hijack the thread, but I just have to ask about your screen name. Somehow that struck me as about the most weird one I have seen.
just a nickname from when I was a child. My sisters would call me kelly belly just for fun.

The more natural the beauty the better in my opinion. But a 17' trailer for full timing might be your real problem.

Hear hear .... 🙂 Camping can also be a time for letting it all hang loose in the RV. 😉

I'd do the same too but my wife hardly wears pumps in the first place and if I took them camping she'd think I was nuts.

Actually the T@b's are 6x8 of living space, about the size of a large walk in closet. I doubt it would work for most couples, even minimalists.

The op said a 17 ft. T@B ...

If you check their website. the length is 15' exterior, 6'x10' interior. The T@da was 17' but no longer made and the op mentioned T@b and these are those dimensions.
