I have a good friend that installed it on his Duramax and tows a 39’ fiver. He said he definitely notices the additional power when towing. As for mileage, he said he’s getting 4-6 more mpg. He still has his EGR & DPF,s hooked up. He runs it on the lower setting, I think 30 hp.
It increases rail fuel pressure which will improve atomization which can reduce regen from occurring as often. He said he noticed that it doesn’t regen as much as it use to. Go figure.

4-6 mpg increase? I would not believe a word he said after that. Even a full delete and tune will not increase your mpg that much.

It is called " chipping " here. It is an electronic way of improving power slightly and fuel economy again slightly

I know what it is and what what it can do. Everyone one of my vehicles for the past 15 years has had the ECU remapped and tuned. Some I have done myself and others I have had others do. Some only provide small gains like this Stealth module and its 60 hp/290 lb-ft gains while other like my EFI Live tune added 175hp/392 lb-ft max.

He’s bigger than me so I’m not going to call him a liar. I will pass along your message, though.

Nah, it will probably just require you to pay extra for all of its power like the $10,000 surcharge for the "ludicrous mode" in the Model S.
Careful you may rip the pin right off the trailer frame.

Me? Nah, I would never own one. Even if Tesla doesn't go under before they make a truck (which all signs say they will), a battery operated Tesla truck would not be able to fit my needs.

What dont you read Elon Musks tweets?
When Elon builds a pick-up you will not need a stealth mode.

Is that hand calculated? Because with this tuner spraying more fuel after the ECM sends the signal the EVIC will be nowhere close to accurate.

You’ll get all kinds of fun responses with this MRE.
Bottom line if you’re looking to tune the truck, Stealth is cheap cr@p. There are better tuners.

I have heard some good things about it on the Cummins forum. It is very similar to the Edge JWA module I ran for a short time, but at least with that you get a monitor as well. Unlike modules of the past that broke stuff left and right (especially when stacked), the modules today seem to be pretty mellow in their tuning. Generally the max hp gain with these modules is the lowest hp gain from a custom tune or flash.

The downside of these modules is that they generally increase soot levels which will increase regens. This may cause a slight drop in mpg depending on which setting you have it on. The other part I don't like about these modules is that they do not tune the transmission to handle the added power which is also why they are generally mellow on their performance gains. Any more power without a trans tune to increase line pressure, adjust TC lockup, and alter shift strategies and you are cutting into the longevity of your trans.

At the very least I would get a BD trans line pressure increase booster/fooler harness if you decide to go this route. This will fool your solenoids to output higher line pressure percentage then commanded keeping your clutches alive. Don't worry, it will not increase it to unsafe levels which is over 170 psi fir the 68RFE with a stock valve body.

The Cummins engine alone can reliably handle a lot more horsepower (as in hundreds more) than this module can supply so no need to worry there.
