Why not mount a coax barrel connector on the roof surface with a cap so you have it pre-wired if you change your mind?
That's what I did when I removed the Winegard crank up OTA antenna to make room for more solar. Winegard reception was also ****, at least where I generally camp. I cut an aluminum plate to match the footprint of the Winegard and mounted a RF barrel connector for future use. I took an RF connector that you would crimp onto coax and sealed it with RTV then screwed it onto the barrel connector to prevent water entering the connector until I added the Dish Tailgater you see mounted on the ladder.
Before anyone gets excited, the wire routing you see was temporary. I had removed my Kyocera panels to make room for the AC, then had the AC installed before mounting the new Renogy panels.
