Sun Lake east WA.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to see if anyone was going out to Sun Lakes State Park at the end of this month 6/28/13? There's a new hookup site at the top of the park and it looks pretty nice. We will be there from Friday thru Sunday.

By the 27th, we will be south of St. Louis, MO and about 2500 miles from home. We'll have to catch up with you on another trip.

We just drove through there on our way to Steamboat Rock SP on Banks Lake,,, which was wonderful.

We needed to pick up a few things at a grocery store before we arrived, and made the mistake of stopping at Soap Lake... we thought that we were in the bar scene for Star Wars, and we left (ran) without buying anything, we then stopped at Coulee City and had a great experience at their grocery store.

We have camped at Sun Lakes SP for more than 30 years, and have really enjoyed our stays there, but we enjoy Banks Lake SP more now. We are not familiar with that specific site.

Nope, we'll be in Wenatchee Confluence SP. I'd like to go to Pot Holes but its a little far for us.

I like the area, but I won't be there this weekend. 😞

its a nice park. I take it you are staying in the state park section then correct? the trees in that section are newer and do not provide a lot of shade so be prepared for that, it gets hot there. last time we camped there was a few years ago but we liked it. that's the weekend before we leave for the Montana rally so we will be staying at home and getting things ready for the rally. otherwise we would meet you there.
