Hey honey, how about we buy a truck camper ?
Its typical of a guy wanting a small pop-up truck camper or a non slide unit for fishing and hunting man-cave. Then the DW suggests a unit with more room . So , he reluctantly suggests a single slide unit. She negotiates a double slide unit. He flatly refuses , she gets him in a head-lock and they end up with a triple slide unit . 🙂

Same thing happened to me. My Mrs. saw the AF990 single slide, liked it, ready to go for it. THEN... she saw the double slide AF996. Check my signature to figure out what happened.

I would love an excuse like that to get into a Eagle Cap 1165, but the truck would not be able to handle it.

Yeah, I read that article this morning. Pretty funny. I can see this happening quite a bit, even to me. The wife has been eyeing an Arctic Fox 811 lately to put on the new truck. Got to resist...got to resist....got to... 🙂

I know how things like that can happen.

We stopped in Truck Camper Warehouse while on a trip to Maine, NH, & Vermont. We were in our Lance 1055 that we had owned for about 1 year. The wife was looking inside a single slide TC on the lot and said "we need one of these". We now have a Lance 1050S single slide TC.

Back in July she looked inside a Lance 1172 but did not say the words I wanted to hear. Bummer.

The one guy was me, lol . My first tc was a slide model when I wanted a non slide . My friend went to look at a smaller class c and came home with a 40 ft 'A' . Everybody is happy in the end .
The important thing is we all get to spend quality time together and that's what counts.

Just happening to me. We are going from our "small" Lance 850 and upgrading to a 1050S.
