Tie downs

I am new to the forum and to truck camping. I will pick up my used unit in AZ (2 days drive) Lance 2004 1121. My question, What is the best tie down system. I was looking at torklift but I can't find anyplace near Augusta GA to install them. Any information will be GREATLY appreciated. Please help.

Torklift, hands down. They mount to your frame and are American made, along with EXCELLENT customer service.

Torklift all the way. I installed my own, bought them from Dryers RV Parts, online.

Actually there is another one, DSP hitches from Edmonton, Alberta but it looks like they are winding down their operations. I've also never seen their mounts. I may have checked them out if I would have known before I bought Torklifts, I know the locals like their 5th wheel hitches.

"What is best" is subjective. I currently have TL's and everyone thinks they are the cat's meow, but if I had to do it over I would opt for Happi Jac.

You can do no wrong with either ..."either" meaning that unfortunately there is only a choice between two unless you fabricate your own.
