I have a brand new T.T. when it was delivered to my driveway, while unhitching, the electric tounge kept stopping and would have to wait maybe 10-15 seconds to proceed to start again. The person who delivered it said this is normal? I was leveling it yesterday myself and same thing. It just seems to me you should flip a switch , move it up and down as needed and stop it when necessary. So, is this a normal thing that happens or perhaps it is faulty? the t.t. is 2016 spree 337res
Some TT makers (Jayco) have moved to "Auto Resetting Fuses" for the tongue Jacks in their 16 models. Is it possible the fuse is tripping and resetting? I found mine by following the wires into the frame and it was just before they entered the trailer. I wasn't having any issues, but since this is my first TT, I wanted to go over wiring before my first trip.
Hi, well I have an electric tongue jack and have "never" experienced that stop and go issue. Mine is about 2 years old but that really shouldn't matter. You might want to check the jack wiring to the battery. It almost sounds like it is shorting out & or the connection is loose.
