Towing mirrors

Has anybody used CIPA slip-on towing mirrors model 11300 (pair) 110301 (driver side) or 11302 (passenger side)? If so, I'd like your opinion on them. I can't really justify spending $500 on OEM mirrors. I don't know why Toyota can't put towing mirrors in the towing package. They don't seem that expensive when they're part of a $40,000 truck.

I have a set. They're okay, but overpriced!

There is no substitute for real tow mirrors. I just put on some on my '09 Sierra. Found mine for just under $300. Try this site http://www.1aauto.com/1A/Mirrors/Toyota/. Have not towed yet with them but will have a chance Friday. Takes some getting used to in every day driving but it will be nice to see behind the trailer.

CIPA mirrors were one of the first things I bought after buying my TT almost two years ago. Second season of using them and I Love them!! No vibration. ez-on ez-off both within a matter of seconds with just a twist of a knob. Once I got them adjusted for for my sight line, i have never had to re-adjust them. They blend well with my trucks exterior and you can hardly tell I have them on.

I highly recommend them!

Google around as there are replacement mirrors on the internet, you can unbolt yours and put them on.

My dad has those on his truck and he likes them enough. Better than the factory windows. He did say he'd rather have my towing mirrors on my 2500HD though.
