Trailers with a loft but not a toy hauler or bunkhouse.

I have been looking and not finding any options of a TT with a loft that is not a toyhauler or a bunkhouse. I am looking for a TT that has a front bedroom with a rear livingroom but I would like a loft for guests etc.

Here is our solution. We bought a 1996 Jay Co eagle 324 rear bunk house with a front queen and gutted the bunkhouse. We bought a full size sofa air bed. In addition to the windows that were there I bought a wide rear window. I wanted to be able to use it at race tracks to see out the back end so we now have a sitting room during the day and a bedroom at night. I bought a fold up coffe table from Camping World hung a 32" flat panel. I'll try to post pictures tonight.

Mostly because soon we will be empty nesters and will not need our bunkhouse. I like the layouts of a rear livingroom and the large window in the back of the TT. But it would be nice in case our children want to stay or future grandchildren we have a place for them to stay or if friends want to crash. I don't want to give up a larger living room to bunks that will only occasionally be used.

Maybe sent the poster a PM?

I saw what one did with the OUTBACK Loft TT trailer a couple of years back. They made up the bay room pretty neat into a permanent bedroom. The OUTBACK loft was pretty neat with the steps going up and all... Nice view up there looking over the camp ground trailer roof mounted air conditioners and antennas and all hehe...

I also remember seeing photos of a AIRSTREAM trailer once that had inside steps going to the roof area but was just for sitting on the roof...

Gemco Engineering & Manufacturing of Cincinnati, did not stay in business longโ€ฆ but they built a trailer that was 26 feet long and eight feet wide, with a center bedroom compartment that raised to a height of 19 feet... The RV had a fully equipped kitchen, living room and bathroom on the first floor and two bedrooms with double beds on the second...
Dubbed the Space-Queen RV was way ahead of its timeโ€ฆ built in the early 50โ€™s way ahead of itโ€™s timeโ€ฆ

I don't think they have made them since the '70s. Good luck in finding one.
