hello TC friends,
last (Easter) week we travelled to southern France: Provence (the Inland) and Cote d'Azur (the coast line).
I want to present some photos and impressions and hope you like it.
As I told you at the end of last year we changed to a smaller rig (Nissan Frontier and "TrendUp"-full carbon composite camper.
We thought that - due to the age of our children (19 and 15) in the future we would travel only two persons, but..... facts can change quickly: out adult daughter wanted to accompany us.
So, this was our maiden voyage - with 4 persons. And all worked perfect, although it was very cosy inside the camper. ๐
Now I present you the first part of my pictures, in the region of Provence, inland of southern France.

well, here comes part II, the French Riviera (Cote dโAzur):
as first spot we reach the region of St. Tropez. This village is well known due to his very famous (very rich) VIPs and European and American jet set (starting with Brigitte Bardot in the sixties).
We made our first stop at Port Grimaud. Port Grimaud began to rise out of the sand dunes around the marshes of the river Giscle on the north shore of the Golfe de Saint-Tropez in 1966. Known as the 'Venice of Provence' and arranged into four little islands, the colourful houses are linked by bridges over the waterways and surrounded by gardens. Port Grimaud is a great attraction for anyone interested in boats and yachts and offers a range of water sports. The town is mainly traffic free and the properties come with their own berth.

Probably something like that. Here are MANY around, especially in France. These usually contain 2 potable water faucets, a cassette toilet cleaning faucet, cassette toilet dump, which can also be used for US type dump hoses and a few shore power sockets. Dumping is always free, potable water is sometimes paid per 50 or 100 liters (sometimes with a token) and shore power is always paid by the hour or so. You need a long cable because you're probably not parked very close to the sockets.
So all US type dumping goes into the foot of the "pole" where cassettes are dumped and European grey water runs onto the ground into the drain you see in the picture.
