A bit off topic, but.... has anyone used the B&W hitch RVK3600 which is the hitch that fits the Ram factory 5th wheel prep system... in a SHORTbed, not longbed. Any issues since the B&W RVK3600 is not a slider. What precautions do you take?

Gee, even my 5' tall wife can reach my crappy Reese hitch without any assistance.
I used Reese hitches from the time I started towing in 1975 until last year...nothing crappy about them..BUT when I had them in my DUALLY..At 5' 8" tall I STILL had to climb up on my tire to release...not a big deal..At 65 yrs of age, and trying to recoup from a stroke, I need all the help I can get...and on the dually, the step comes in handy...
Sorry Jim it wasn't obvious, but I do like my Reese. Tongue in cheek comment.:)

Oh and the comment about the unsolicited picture ---I believe the comment itself was unsolicited !!
kinda like the pot calling the kettle black..:W
I figured the OP would appreciate it since he is considering the exact same hitch....:S
I installed the B&W last night. It fits the factory Dodge pucks great.
A question for the B&W fans: How tall are you gents and what's your average reach?
I'm six foot and I can't reach the pin on the locking lever without climbing in the bed of the truck or riding on my wife's shoulders. How do you guys do it?

I prefer this with my Dually. Has it's own hiding place! I can reach the hitch and the toolbox easily.
Ron, give us cost, where to order , install information.
thanks,
Jim
