Theoretically, the tire pressure listed on your door jamb is the pressure that is required to meet the vehicles GVWR. As long as you aren't overweight, you technically don't need to do anything with your tires.
However, by increasing the pressure some may actually find that the vehicle rides/drives/handles better when loaded.
My door jamb says 55 front, 80 rear. When not towing or hauling I run 50-55 in the front and 62-65 in the rear. When towing I increase the rear to 80.
