Under 24 ft with slide that sleeps 4?

Anyone have a small trailer with a slide-out that sleeps 4 grown people? The floor plan most common in the smaller units with slides is a full/queen bed in the front with a dinette or sofa in the slide that is really a twin size. Any larger U-shaped dinettes that convert to a full-sized bed? R-Pod does have a bunk model that would work, but our local dealer doesn't have it.

Unfortunately most manufacturer's specs are very limited and don't included bed sizes.

Custom build?
how could your design work? you need to stretch that trailer out to accommadate the bed/dinette interference when closed.

Hybrids give the maximum TT floorplan and gets the beds out of the picture. A 18 year old Proven Technology.

We just had 4 adults in it last weekend. Worked great. Overall length is 24 feet. Dinette in the slide. Full size queen up front, two bunks in the back, and a dinette that converts to a small bed.

Thanks very much. I hear Camplite makes a great product. That would be the ideal floorplan actually, although as someone else suggested you do sacrifice storage space. The main negative though is price and availability, but I'll do some checking.

I looked at them and really liked them but what killed the deal for me was that at that time none of the small/lightest units had a sink/vanity in the bath.

Thanks. Lance's dinettes look big, I have an inquiry out to get a measurement on one.

Lance was the other that I thought of:

KZ Spree has a few options:

http://www.kz-rv.com/spree-escape/E196S.html
http://www.kz-rv.com/spree-escape/E204S.html (this one, you'd have to use a sofa and/or dinette for sleeping the 4)

There's also my design:

Click for larger
- could sleep 6-7. Problem is, no one in their right mind would build it as it would be way too heavy for a 20' camper.

Look at the Lance trailers. 16' to 27' long if I remember right.

Hybrids are not marketed or designed to be towed by Minivans. Ours is a 5000lb gvw model and others are upper 6k to 7300lb gvw models. Minivans have there place at a daycare and not towing full height camper or 12ft w slideout pup.

We had a Jayco 24RKS that had a small couch slide that would sleep 4. 2 on the queen bed, one on the couch and one on the dinette.

Thanks everyone for the replies.

Another option for getting an open floorplan might be a small toy hauler.

Interesting, not familiar with their products, nice to see something different. That one is a little long though, and the sofa looks a little small, but I'll do more research.

Interesting floorplan! Haven't seen that one; nearest dealer is a few hours away but I'll keep it on the list. Thanks.

Hoping for 24 ft overall.

Thanks. I've had two Northwood products. That one is pushing it length-wise (almost 26) and weight-wise for me, although it looks really nice.

Most likely you would need to research a hybrid. Our 21ft bh sleeps six with no slide, couch, or dinette use. Plenty of storage for all six or weeks worth for a family of 4.

Yes, I'm starting to look at hybrids. Some don't seem to have a lot of storage -- you lose cabinets at each end typically, but others aren't too bad. I'm trying to find something with decent tank sizes etc though, and a lot of them are designed for minivans and the capacity is very low. Jayco and Coleman have a couple good ones but they're quite pricey.

I have never seen a 24' with a slide but that does not mean they don't exist and two queens are going to be stretch in a small unit.

6 years ago when I first wanted something like this I couldn't find much, but there are actually quite a few now.
