Under 24 ft with slide that sleeps 4?

Anyone have a small trailer with a slide-out that sleeps 4 grown people? The floor plan most common in the smaller units with slides is a full/queen bed in the front with a dinette or sofa in the slide that is really a twin size. Any larger U-shaped dinettes that convert to a full-sized bed? R-Pod does have a bunk model that would work, but our local dealer doesn't have it.

Unfortunately most manufacturer's specs are very limited and don't included bed sizes.

Yep- the murphy bed would have to be up for the slide to come in. I didn't post it here- but it's completely a pipe dream and doesn't take into account the wheel wells anywhere or anything like that.

The camper would be quite crowded with the bed down, but seems like it could be livable with the bed up for such a small package.

I just think the whole thing would be heckishly heavy. I've got a 3500 DRW for my fifth wheel, but wanted a small "camping camper" to use fit places that I can't take my big camper or when I want a more "rustic" experience.

One option a dealer mentioned to me for those floorplans that have a deep slide is to just throw a camping mattress on the floor for the 4th person.

Forgot about them, glad to see they are still around. The only ones that really sleep 4 adults though are 27 ft or so; the others have either a dinette that's too narrow or a sofa that's too short. Which is the norm. Thanks though.

Plenty of storage over, under and alongside the queen bed, and under the lower bunk in addition to the cabinets over and under the counter.

Could always use more though.

Not sure what your tow vehicle is... But what about an Outback Terrain 210trs? Well under 24 ft total, with a king bed slide, and bunks. No side slide so it's narrower than some, but with the rear slide it makes up for in it length. Also a small outside cook top and sink is standard.

Just slightly over the 24 foot mark also look at the outdoorrvmfg.com they have a couple that may suit your needs.

Shopping this same floorplan. Curious to see what other options pop up here.

I've been in that Vibe, and it was a bit strange to me. It has a slide, but that does nothing to increase walking space. It still feels cramped, and you have to climb through the dinette to get to the bunks.

- could sleep 6-7. Problem is, no one in their right mind would build it as it would be way too heavy for a 20' camper.

Thanks. I think I did see the KZ, but they only have 20 gal tanks and a 3500 lb GVWR. But I like your design! And this is the frustrating thing -- it is generally assumed that people only want a small trailer for light weight. But I have a decent tow vehicle and weight isn't a huge deal; it's fitting into forest campgrounds and towing stability that is the issue for me.

Maybe not all but many of the ones I saw had GVWR of 3500. Yes, I saw some that were heavier and had large tanks but they were in the $30k range; it used to be you got more for you money with them but it doesn't necessarily seem to be the case any more (depending on how you look at it I guess).
