Never seen or heard of it until now. You would really have to not be paying any attention to what you were doing to hit the jack in the first place and secondly hit it hard enough to bend it to where the TC collapsed. I have a thumb width on each side of the tailgate entrance to slide the TC base through. That means I rally pay attention to the line up and I double check to make sure the TC is high enough to clear the bottom of the bed. I just cant see it. If I did see it you can bet I would have cell phone pictures of the incident...so where are yours?
