VIDEO ADDED: Baby It's Cold Outside!

A couple more weeks of this cold, then it's back to the regularly scheduled salt mine.
Rosemary herb garlic pork chops with carrot and gold potatoes for dinner.

Ice Ice Baby!

Cleaning my way out from my camp spot after sitting for 7 days. I need to make my way to a state park dump station 30 miles away. The local dump facility only a couple miles away closed for the season. I might just splurge for some pizza while in Hood River.

Just broomed off a good 10" of snow off my Lance that is unloaded and got stuck in the driveway with my empty truck, thanks to the snow plow... I should have left the camper on the truck...Saw it right off.. :B

Got to the municipal dump station in Hood River. Thankfully It's open 24 hrs it appears. I decided to take a last shower and use up any more water I could before dumping and filling the fresh. Cooked up a bunch of use or lose pork chops and ate some salad. Now to grocery for a few things then 30 miles back to jobsite.

I understand, thought someone was playing a cruel joke on us. Trying to camperize a van and only working inside now, suppose to warm up by January 1 but will not hold my breath.

Brrr! Not nearly that cold here but, for the first time this winter, will be dropping into the teens tonight and won't get above freezing tomorrow. So went ahead and winterized the camper.

I know we have it easy here in the PNW compared to you Eastern folks. I'm off on a 60 mile round trip to the nearest dump station. Hope the fresh isn't frozen.

It's 5°F actual here in Buffalo, NY. Windchill is -12°F. We are not to see the 20's until 1/4.

At least we are better off than Erie, PA. They got on national news with a PA record 60+ inches of snow in 48 hours as well as the cold!

I remember once in Bishop we got down to about 18F one night. Our water was just a bit slushy in the morning but we were sure having fun.

I like F versus C. It's 8 here in the corrosion state. Wind chill is minus 4. Got the stove cranked up. Nice fire to sit in front of. Mice and toasty here.
