While prepping my camper for a boondocking trip, I put water in the holding tank to test my pump. Water pressure was really low and water was spewing out of the city water connector. Any idea what causes this?

You could use a hose plug to stop it until you can replace the check valve.

May be the cheapest and quickest fix.

Plug the city water connection and check it. How long are you running it you may need to let it fill the water heater before you get more pressure.

Check valve on the city water connection? Anything else, we'll need more details on your camper.
