What Portable Grill Do You Use ?

Just wondering what model of portable grill you all use.

I used to take my Solaire infrared portable but found it too tempermental in the wind, the igniter and regulator kept failing and you are not supposed to cook with the lid closed.....infrared burner.

Just got my Weber Q2200 today and I think this one is a winner. It's actually a bit bigger than I thought, but I didn't want to go with the Q1200 and have too small a surface.

Bought an Olympian this year so I could utilize the direct hookup feature. Works great and seems well made. My old Weber Go Anywhere was tired anyways.

Does the Olympian put out more heat and cook faster than the RV grills that come with many of the campers? We'll need to start looking to replace our RV grill next year that came with our TT 3 years ago. I like the idea of still being able to hook up to the TT's propane supply but not if the low pressure propane connection produces the low heat like our current grill.

I have a Solaire Infared. Everything pops out of it so you can clean it. Most of the grease burns off and turns to ash instead. Best little grill I have ever used. I got it for $150 from a guy who got it with a package and never used it. They go for $300-400

Weber "Go anywhere" gas grill,, works great for the two of us,,Modified a smokey Joe into a smoker and take that if we are doing ribs or tri-tip!

Weber Q120 Grill (small model with folding side tables). I gave my virtually new Coleman Road Trip to Goodwill. That was the worst grill I have ever owned.

Weber Smoky Joe. Doubles as a holder for a small campfire.

I use a Volcano. I like the option to use gas or coals and it fits the dutch oven.. Fairly compact too.

Campchef grill box. Works great with our Campchef stove, which we always bring and set up anyway (I hate cooking inside the trailer).

another Weber Jumbo Joe, bought at Meijer--the Smokey Joe is too little. And only real wood charcoal, not briquets.

I take either a Weber Q220 or my old worn out Aussie charcoal folding grill when I take a grill. Some CG's I frequent have a decent grill on site and some have plenty of nearby dining spots that make my life even easier
