Arctic Foxes and Wolf Creeks!!

Yesterday's travels took me to the Northwood factory:

This only shows a fraction of the AF campers in the storage yard.
I didn't see any Wolf Creek campers.

There's a row of AFs along the fence, parallel to the road.

I got these as I was driving around trying to figure out where the yard was for units ready for delivery.... this wasn't the correct corner of the yard.

The first one my mom and dad had was a 26X. They were the second owners. They liked it, but it was really tongue heavy. In 2011 they downsized slightly, to a 25 something or other.

My first was a 21SW Desert Fox, which was my first "real" rv. I bought it new in 2003. I sold it and downsized to an 811 truck camper in 2009.

Unless the schedule has changed, factory tours are at 11am.... this is when the majority of the production staff is at lunch. They do this so the tour doesn't get in the way of the production activities, and vice-versa.

I did the factory tour, I think it was in 2011 - my vacation came back through LaGrande on my way home, and I just barely made it in time for the tour.

There's a separate building where the travel trailer frames are built.

The main production building has an area dedicated to truck camper manufacturing.

We are our 2nd Arctic Fox--it is an 07 and about 30,000 miles on it. For my $$'s it is the only way to go. The first one we had is still in use as well. Lars

Yes they offer tours and very well worth it. You can try to plan your tour on the week/month they are running your choice.

It's hard not to like the Northwood RVs. I'm on my second one, my mom and dad are on their second one.

There were a number of AF trailers in the yard that had the windows boarded up - maybe they are enroute to Alaska... I have no idea.

I have a few more pics on my camera, but it's late and I am too tired to go out to the truck and get it. I'm pretty much worn out from driving from Spokane to the factory last night and back this morning to deliver a 27 footer to a local dealer.

There must have been at least 20 AF campers. There were two rows of them.
