hey all. Im not new to camping but I am new to having a tt (always used tents or a pop up) not I have a 1991 prowler 19e. I have a daughter 15 months (still in a crib) and another due this fall. what does everyone else to with the little ones for sleeping? Last year she was young enough we slept with her. this year she will need somewhere to go (ive seen narrow play pens that will fit in the isle of the trailer that im thinking is the way to go. hopefully by next season when baby number 2 is here baby 1 will be old enough to go on a bed. I will make something work just looking for ideas. thanks all

You can get a "fence" that has two bars to slip under the mattress or dinette pad to keep the little one from rolling off. My daughter preferred the Pac-&-Play, fold up playpen. It folds into a tube much like a travel chair.
Enjoy every moment, and Happy Trails.

Pack-n-play in the dinette area.

You can use THAT as a reason to NOT have overnight guests in the trailer. They bring a tent or go home.

Our daughter just turned one a few weeks ago. We have a bunkhouse, and we built a crib side that pressure mounts against the wall. (We didn't want to drill holes). She loves it, and actually sleeps better in the camper than at home!

Our daughters have been camping since they were 5 months old. They began sleeping on one of the couches with the pillows fitted to make a "well" for them to sleep in. When they began moving around, the Pack-n-play would go in the space where the table was removed.

When they were about 18 months old, they began sleeping in a toddler bed at home, so the transition in the camper was easy. DH configured a spider net that was attached at the bottom, but was velcroed at the top for easy access. This also kept them in the bed during the night - we had to assist with getting them out to go to the bathroom or whatever. They slept in there until they were about 4, then got to graduate to the top bunk, which also had bed rails.

Now they both sleep on the bottom bunks because it's too much of a pain to crawl up and down to go to the bathroom. They couldn't wait to get up there, but now, they both want the bottom.

For the first year our baby slept in a pack n play that fit between the couch and sink cabinet. For the last 2 seasons my 2 girls shared the bunk over our bed. I just built a small rail so that they could not roll out. This season they are big enough I have to take the dinette down and use for one kid and the other gets the bunk and the dog crate goes where the pack and play went. All happy times.

I have a bunkhouse TT that has a junior dinette in the back room that breaks down into a small bed. I made a solid rail out of plywood and covered it with material. Works great for our needs.

We had a 1992 Jayco 265FS. We took the "kitchen" table down and it was big enough to fit the pack-n-play in.

We put 'em on the dinette bed with a rail so they couldn't fall off and bathed them in the kitchen sink.:)... Lots of fond memories full timing with toddlers.
