Apparently they do. I knew I'd have to borrow a little to trade up to the F250 and would use my credit union. The dealer insisted his banks could beat their rates. I said show me in writing. He did. I took those rates back to my credit union and they lowered their rates to beat what the dealer offered. This went back and forth twice. In the end I borrowed from my credit union as I planned but I saved roughly $800 thanks to the dealer insisting he could do better.

Well the dealer came back with a offer and we are the proud owner of a 2009 F250 Crew cab, with the 5.4 and a topper on the back. We fell in love with the power mirrors, press the button and they extend out, and the topper was on our list of must haves. It for sure has a ton of room. We paid $26,000 when it was all said and done. Not sure if that was a good deal or not. But its ours now. The best part, we have been saving for two years and paid cash for it. No monthly payments.

The deal fell through with the 2009 F250 crew cab. The dealer came with in $1600 of what I offered but couldn't close the deal. I don't have car fever so I walked. that was Monday night, we will see if they give me a call prior to the first. The Ford dealer here in town was nice but wasn't going to deal with me. Oh well back to the drawing board and looking again. this is a cash deal and I am in no hurry. So I feel like I am in control, and with gas going back up to $4.00 a gallon I have a feeling they will have a hard time moving the big trucks.
