I had a productive weekend. Small modification.....

After:

Before is a 2006 Northstar 850SC that I've had for 3 or 4 years and it was truly loved. After is a 2005 Lance 820 which I drove 700 miles to buy. The reasons I loved the 850 was the whole "Tent" like camping experience which is also why I've gone hard side. Quieter, better insulated, stealthier. Stealthier??? It's 5" longer and a foot wider but looks the same all the time. Excited for a new era in camping.

Took the cover off, but the fact its 70 in February don't mean I can de-winterize it. Not until April 1st do I feel safe.

I bought it in October, used it 1 week, than put it away. nice to be able to play with new camper :).

I installed the pendent for the Progressive Dynamics converter so I can see what mode its in (and switch modes). $12.00.

I Installed a relay so digital wall thermostat switches complete roof AC unit on and off. (stock the compressor will turn on and off but fan keeps running, plus all controls (thermostat) is on roof unit unit)

No way I can fish wires from upper wall where thermostat is, (above sink) to lower wall where wiring goes into basement. The current pass through holes are full.

since I am pre-wired for generator, but I don't plan on buying one, I used the blue wire, which is for Generator hour meter, and used it for thermostat AC use.
I cut it down in cabinet and ran it to the relay I use which goes inside AC site of fuse block.

I wanted to mount Bogart RV2030 into wall above kitchen sink, but again, no way I can route the wires that go from shunt and temp pickup to RV2030 through wall.
I did find my solar wires. stuffed in wall above sink must be 8' of 10 gauge wire labeled battery and solar (needs about 9 feet trimmed).

solar controller will end up somewhere under sink, and RV2030 will end up on side wall below sink, above foot step (those with 990 will know where this is).

Got tired of climbing in and out of the camper to get a flashlight. I added a 3M Command Broom Holder to hold the flashlight close to the door.

Mounted up some fold out steps under the deck to make it easier to get in and out for the wife and my daughter. And yeah, I'm gonna use em to. Did one on each side but only have pictures of the drivers side.

Also added some led strip light triggered with Jeep door jamb switches to my side storage boxes

You couldn't do that with manual Carefree awning - There was not enough room between the rear wall and vertical supports like your powered awning. I did clock my front jack motors inboard so they actually sat under the cab over.
