Thanks for all your advice. We will be out for 10 days, but don't plan on a lot of battery use. Mostly the occasional use of the pump, and lights in the evening.
Thanks for the input. I am trying to attach a photo of the broken and burned fuse connection. The fuse is about 1 foot from the battery connection. The controller is up on the roof and about 5-6 feet from the batteries.
We did the road with no problems. It's subsistence hunting time and we saw tons of ATV's with big gun racks on them. We did see one huge Caribou herd on the other side of a lake. They were gamboling around and the bulls were challenging each other...
