When using gas only to power your refrige, does it use more power if you are in the auto mode? Should I switch to gas only mode to save battery? Thank you
About how much weight on the hitch would there be from a 19Ft travel trailer? Its not packed with much and we travel with empty tanks. The hitch I want to use has a 6000 lb rating and 600 lb for the hitch weight. The trailer weighs about 3000 lbs.

I don't travel with the tank full for weight reasons. Just keep enough for the times we use the bathroom on the lonely stretches of highway. I have had the problem of bad smelling water but not often enough to carry a full tank.
