AZ 86 Ajo Tucson

How is AZ 86 Ajo/Tucson for a big rig (40 ft) towing. Will bypass Kitt Peak with the coach and come back for that. Copilot is showing about the same travel times for that and I8 even at RV speeds but its 30 or so miles shorter (and off the interstate).

We used the road in Feb and there was construction up by Tuscon. Not enough to worry about

86 is good. Sure beats an interstate.

Good 2 lane Tucson to Why speed limit 55 to 65 depending on the shoulders. Not many places to pull off. AZ 85 is about the same.
