The past year I've reached out and asked many questions about RV'ing, Roads and Routes and some tech questions. Wanted to say thanks to everyone. Our trip was a success.
25 Days, 7,321 Miles, From NH to the Pacific Ocean and back again.
We went west on the 80/90 routes west (threw in a 29 up to SD and a 20 through ID and Central Oregon Highway)
Did the 97 and I5 down into CA.
Coming back it was the 15 and the 70 into PA and then north up into the northeast and NH.
Stayed 2 nights in Big Timber MT, 2 nights Boise ID, 4 nights Bend OR, 4 Nights Chula Vista CA, 2 nights Vegas, 3 nights Denver CO. The rest were one nighters here and there along the route.

Great time visiting Friends and family along the way.

Great time seeing this beautiful country of ours. Still amazed and still realize not enough time to see and enjoy it all!!

One of my goals has been to circum-navigate the USA. I plotted out a route on Google staying as close to the coast and/or border all the way around and it's about a 10,000 mile trip. Back when I first bought the DP diesel fuel was $1.70 and that would have been an affordable trip. At todays prices the trip would be over $5,000 just in fuel alone.

I love driving cross country also, I drove from the Bay Area to Chicago in 3 days, then to Cleveland for a day, down to Pittsburgh and My Sister's house in New Jersey. Coming back I took about 10 days and went to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village and a ballgame in Detroit, Went back to Chicago and saw the Field Museum, then took I-94 to I-90 to Seattle, also to see a ballgame. Finally went to my 50th state on that trip. I want to do a longer trip next year.

I haven't been all the way across yet, but did go to Wisconsin and back from California. One thing I did is on the way we took I-80 and just drove three straight days to get there. Then we took our time getting back going up through the Northern States. We only had two weeks, so if we had taken our time on the way out, then the trip would have had to have ended with the longs days driving. So much nicer getting that out of the way up front.

Sounds like you had a blast. I've been thinking about crossing up on Hwy 2 and then going thru Canada to NY and then New Hampshire next summer.
